Father Robert L. "Bob" Bailey, a retired Roman Catholic priest from Cranston, Rhode Island, has dedicated his life to both pastoral service and the study of the paranormal. He earned a bachelor's degree in education and human development from Rhode Island College and pursued theological studies at Our Lady of Providence Seminary in Warwick, Rhode Island. He furthered his education at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where he obtained a Master of Divinity degree. Ordained in 1993, Father Bailey served in various parishes, including St. Mark in Cranston, St. Brendan in Riverside, St. Elizabeth in Bristol, and St. Philip in Greenville. He was appointed pastor of St. Maria Goretti Parish in Pawtucket for six years before being installed as pastor of Holy Cross Church in Providence by Bishop Thomas J. Tobin on September 14, 2013. He retired from active ministry in October 2020 due to health reasons.
